Costume & Makeup

Here are the before and after shots for the last two weeks. We learned how to make are faces thinner with shadows and highlights. Also how to make ourselves look old and how you have to kind of go over the top in theatre so that the audience can actually see it.
Wooh, bye bye

Lips and Nose

In costume and makeup today we worked on changing our lips and nose. It was a lot of fun, I learner how to make my lips smaller and larger and how to make the betty boop lips. I also learned how to make my nose more slender and how to give myself a Miss Piggy nose. It was cool.
Here are the before and the afters.

Hahaha I love these pictures... all the silliness!

Natural Makeup for Head-shot

Yesterday in my Costume and Makeup class my professor went over one of the best ways to do makeup for a headshot. This is the result, which I rather like. My professor said that it diva'd me up, and everyone else said it made me look my age instead of the five years younger I normally look. Sadly my face is in shadow so I will post another picture when we do the head-shots. In that picture my hair won't have a strand sticking up from wearing a head band, and I will be wearing a prettier shirt.
Anyway, what I learned in Costume and Makeup yesterday was that I could accentuate my cheek bones (making my face appear less round) by taking a brown shadow and drawing a line where the hollow in my cheek is.
